Tower Fire Rated Windows, Doors and Partitions

TAPMB86EI

The TAPMB86EI is a system of thermally insulated, fire-rated windows, doors and partitions. It is designed to be used for building external fire compartments fitted with operable windows and doors and fixed partitions with a primary fire rating of EI30, EW30 and EI15, in line with the EN 13501-2 standard.

Key advantages

  • Three-chamber aluminium profiles with a central insulating chamber positioned between thermal breaks of 43 or 42 mm.
  • Fire insulation elements incorporated into the internal chambers of the aluminium profiles, supported by dedicated accessories and materials used in the interface between the profiles and the glazing.

  • EI2-rated doors do not require fire insulation inserts within the profile chambers, enabling faster prefabrication and reduced system costs; in glazed façade applications, inserts are required in frame and transom profiles.

  • A broad range of allowable glazing thicknesses supports the use of various insulating glass units, including triple glazing units,
  • MB-86N EI windows are supplied as standard with RC2-rated burglary-resistant hardware.

The Tower Fire Retardant range is available in any RAL colour of your choosing, although custom colours are not held in stock and are subject to slightly longer lead times. The TAPMB96EI range is available in gloss and matt finishes.
